Deeply rooted in the St. Louis community, Lawanda is a passionate advocate and volunteer, contributing her time and expertise to organizations such as Show Me the World Project, University City Sports Association (former Board Member), Grace Christian Academy (Parent Liaison), Employment Connection, Better Family Life, the Community Review Housing for the NGA Project, Save the Redwoods, Audubon Bird Society, and the St. Louis Art Museum.
